Why We Rated This on for Ages 14 and Up

The good stuff

  • Messages:

The lyrics seem so internal that there's no real social message -- maybe these guys need to get out more.

What to watch out for

  • Violence:

A couple of songs might be interpreted as being about violence and/or suicide.
  • Sex:

    Some fairly dense innuendo.
  • Language:

    Not an issue.
  • Consumerism:

    Not an issue.
  • Drinking, drugs, & smoking:

A couple of passing references to smoking and drinking.

What Parents Need to Know

About Empire

Parents need to know that the lead singer doesn't enunciate well enough to worry about any of the album's lyrical content. Really.

Good Album - Better Than Their First

Overall good CD. I don't know why they are freaking out about not being able to understand what they are saying. That only happens in 2-3 songs. Really nothing bad in this album except mild profanity (b***h in "Shoot The Runner). Reccomended.
