What Parents Need to Know
About Everlife
Parents need to know that the three young Ross sisters who are Everlife (part of the Disney family) -- seem intent on delivering a message of wholesome self-acceptance, often at the expense of good songwriting. Although this album is filled with positive messages for younger tweens, parents and older siblings are likely to grow impatient with the band's nonstop earnestness and lack of wit or subtlety. There are also some Christian references in two songs.

Families Can Talk About
- Families can talk about how bands associated with Disney become so popular. How does Disney promote its bands? Do you think it's subtle? Families can also talk about being in a band with your siblings. If your bratty little brother could play bass, would you invite him to play music with you? Do you think you and your siblings have the talent and discipline it takes to become a performing band?
