What Parents Need to Know
About "Get Back" (CD single)
Parents need to know that this song from Lovato's upcoming album is about a girl trying to convince a former boyfriend to "get back" together with her. The lyrics are simple and not overtly sexual, but Lovato does make her vocals seductive at times as she tries to lure this former beau back. Kissing and "wanting" someone are repeated topics in the song.

Families Can Talk About
- Families can talk about Lovato's image. She's continually compared to Miley Cyrus and is touted as the next big thing in tween pop music. Do you thing Cyrus and Lovato are similar? In what ways are they different? Do you think the two signers are promoted by Disney in the same way? How important has the Disney Channel become in promoting and marketing their teen artists?

Older kids will understand the lyrics
The song is fine for those under 10, but they probably wouldn't understand it. So the ideal age is 10/11+ though there's nothing wrong with it.
