Why We Rated This on for Ages 2 and Up

The good stuff

  • Messages:

The Wiggles model nothing but good behavior in this soothing album.

What to watch out for

  • Violence:

The album contains no violent images.
  • Sex:

There are no references to sex.
  • Language:

All of the language is child-friendly.
  • Consumerism:

Although there's a fleeting reference to other Wiggles albums, it's meant to assure listeners that this album of lullabies does not contain pirate jigs, invitations to jump up and dance, and other energetic features of their usual wide-awake CDs.
  • Drinking, drugs, & smoking:

There are no references to drugs or alcohol.

What Parents Need to Know

About Go to Sleep Jeff!

Parents need to know that The Wiggles' friendly banter between songs can be fun listening for young ones. But parents putting a colicky baby to bed can skip ahead to the last 20 minutes of the album, where the most soothing lullabies are repeated without dialogue.

My daughter falls asleep to this CD every afternoon

If your like me, The Wiggles have become the biggest stars in my young daughters life.

I for one am glad to see shows like The Wiggles, that have more substance than others out there, ie Barney and the Teletubbies. "Wake up Jeff" is one of the better sleep CD's that my daughter will listen to. Although they do talk in between the songs, they do so in very soft tones as not to startle the drowsy toddler. I highly recomend anything by The Wiggles and so would my daughter. A must have for the family's little one!!!
