What's the story?

Reviewed by Cynthea Riesenberg

We expect The Wiggles to please their legions of fans with good-natured silliness, catchy melodies, and lots of jumping around. But did you know they could tone down their infectious high spirits and sing sleepy time tunes virtually guaranteed to put your little ones in a state of blissful calm? In GO TO SLEEP JEFF!, they manage to do just that (despite the exclamation mark), by singing lullabies of their own composition, traditional favorites, and gentle tunes from around the world.

Especially restful are the Greek lullaby "Aspri," "Polish Lullaby," and The Wiggles' own "Take A Trip Out On The Sea." And with a generous seventy-six minutes of music and trademark Wiggles chit-chat, you're bound to find favorites of your own. Just make sure you don't operate complicated machinery while listening to this one -- there's too great a risk of dozing off!

Is it any good?

My daughter falls asleep to this CD every afternoon

If your like me, The Wiggles have become the biggest stars in my young daughters life.<p>I for one am glad to see shows like The Wiggles, that have more substance than others out there, ie Barney and the Teletubbies. "Wake up Jeff" is one of the better sleep CD's that my daughter will listen to. Although they do talk in between the songs, they do so in very soft tones as not to startle the drowsy toddler. I highly recomend anything by The Wiggles and so would my daughter. A must have for the family's little one!!!
