    Old School Hannah Montana

I know the headline sounds silly, but people have probably forgotten the first Hannah album since it's all about Hannah's newest songs and Miley's coming out of her Disney image with her new CD. Anyway, this CD is...old school Hannah Montana. Anyone remember "Best of Both Worlds", "I Got Nerve", or even "Who Said"?? Yeah, I didn't think so, but that's cool. Seriously, if you haven't checked out Hannah's first CD, you should because it's less cheesy than the new one, though some songs on "Hannah Montana 2" are Top 40 hits.

    Hannah Montana Soundtrack

Sexual Content (Not an Issue): Some innocent flirtations. Violence (Not an Issue): None. Language (Not an Issue): None. Social Behavior (On): Hannah sends a message about believing in yourself and doing whatever you want to do in life. Commercialism (Pause): Some ads in the CD insert. Drug/Alcohol/Tobacco (Not an Issue): None.

    Good music for tweens

My daughters (10 & 11) rec'd the cd for Christmas and in the past 5 days, they've listed to it 20 times. They love it, and I can handle it. There's a lot of bad music out there with bad messages. This is NOT one of those cds. Some of the songs even have positive messages "Who say's I can't be president? I say I say they ain't seen nothing yet". You go girl !!!

American pop sensation popped my ears!

This CD made me realize that there is more to music than the song or the lyrics. You have to be able to deliver in every song. So I take my hat off to Miley Cyrus. She is fabulous!!!!!!!!!! I never thought (as a singer myself) that I would like a children's actor's voice as much as I did. It is perfect for ittle kids and has a very strong beat to dance to.

    I saw Mylie in "Concert"

Let me admit that my lovely daughter loved "Hannah Montana" before the show. We attended the Disney "Jingle Jam 6" and, if you wonder about how commercialism might affect your child, I'd suggest you attend the show in your area for a dose of reality. First, this is basically harmless entertainment. However, the fantasy and commercialism become all too apparent at one of Disney's free concerts. I like Disney's support for young performers, but as may be expected by a free "cattle call," the show was an object lesson in crass commericalism and bad parental behavior. Sadly, the bottom line: My daughter was annoyed and Hannah lost her lustre: 4 hour wait, 20 minute show, spectacularly unhealthy food after an inordinate wait, and no live musicians. Into every life a little rain must fall.

    Love it!

This album is adorable, full of girl power, and just plain fun. I find myself singing the songs right along with my girls and sometimes even to myself. I recommend it to anyone who has young girls.

    Pretty Good

I own this album. Its a very good message to all little girls. Just remember this that this a very old album. Miley made this at about 13. Its before her terrible, bad image, horrible role model ugly self image came out. These are pretty good songs but they are not really that great for older girls. Listen to this music and hear Miley's present voice and her voice has so matured. I think little girls would like it but personaly I am not a big fan of some of the songs anymore.

Horrible CD by a horrible artist.

It doesn't take one with bad musical taste to know this cd sucks; This CD isn't bad, it's horrible. While it may portray a positive message, it's not what's true to the world. If you're kids go out as adults and act like Hannah Montana does and treat the world like it's great and while it has flaws everything turns out great in the end, they're screwed for what will happen. A lot of people live their lives as failures. Those who do suceed go through hell to do so; Hannah Montana says everything goes great and always turns out great, basically, and that's just not the way it goes. The music is awful. She lipsyncs in concert. Anyone notice that she sounds the Same live? That's because she's a fake! You can let your kid listen to her, but don't let them succumb to her message about life here; make sure they know that it probably won't turn out the way she says it does. Bands that portray life like it is: Green Day (American Idiot, mostly), My Chemical Romance, Linkin Park, Panic at the Disco (not entirely, songs like Camisado, however, do portray a true message), Fall Out Boy, Hawthorne Heights, Silverstein, the Used, Rise Against, Skillet, and the Red Jumpsuit Aparatus. (To name a few)

I say her music teaches a lesson, mainly in confedence. For example, Make Some Noise and Nobody's Perfect. Also her song Life's What You Make It makes a statement, especially the line that says "Life is hard or it's aheartache." Not to exclude the fact that it gives most young females a feeling of freedom,in my opinion as a young girl myself.

    I loved the album.

All the songs are insperational and tell you to follow your dreams. On song What I Learned From You has her dad in it it promotes families and its all about life lessons she learned from her dad. The songs are free from any bad langue or bad influences. I would recomed it to anyone its me favorite CD.
