Parents need to know

Parents need to know that the sophomore album from this young trio featured on Radio Disney is wholesomely entertaining music that promotes faith and positive values. It has many Christian references including needing God in your life and relying on him for strength.

Families can talk about tween artists. Are younger performers taken seriously enough or do they have to work harder to prove themselves? What age is a "good" age to be in the spotlight? Do you think it's too much pressure to be a kid star?

Message

Social Behavior:

The songs send positive messages about believing in yourself, staying positive, and making a difference. The group does mention God, Jesus, Lord, and other Christian references, and needing God in their lives and relying on him for strength. ("I find something that lets me know/Lord you're always up to something new/I'm always surprised by you," "When I call on Jesus all things are possible," and "And I push play live life another day/have faith that everything's OK."

The engaging trio of Caroline, Carolyne, and Jordan of pureNRG has delivered an high energy that's truly contagious. The blend of oomph-infused music with righteous lyrics gives this album a fun and wholesome vibe. The optimistic messages will hit a home run with parents and put them at ease with what their kids are listening to; kids will love the vigor and liveliness of the music that is easy to dance to and sing along to. Two standouts: covers of "That's What Friends Are For" and "Ain't No Mountain High Enough." Spreading the gospel and encouraging morals has never sounded more entertaining.
