What Parents Need to Know

About Kidz Bop Halloween

Parents need to know that some little kids might find the spooky sound effects on this CD a little frightening, but the young voices make every song sound kid friendly. The only track that might raise some goosebumps is "Nightmare on My Street," a cover of a Will Smith rap about Nightmare on Elm Street villain Freddy Krueger.

Families Can Talk About

  • Families can talk about Halloween songs. What makes a song scary? Is it the lyrics? The music? The sound effects? Are these songs about frights or about fun? Can you make up your own scary song? Does listening to these songs make you want to watch the TV shows/movies that some of them are from?

    kidz bop HAPPY HALLOWEEN!!!!

It's too scary for under 8-years old. And too much going around and it might confuse younger kids. But this CD has good 13 songs on it. Kidz bop is doing GREAT!!! Keep up the good work!
