    All of the songs follow a positive central theme: playing and using your imagination. A bonus track, "It's Okay to Be Different," addresses how people, families, and friends come in all shapes and sizes.

  • Consumerism:

    Milkshake songs and videos receive a good amount of airplay on various kid-directed TV stations, including PBS Kids and Noggin. Several of their songs have appeared on the Discovery Kids' series ToddWorld.

  • Drinking, drugs, & smoking:

    Not an issue.

About Play!

Parents need to know that kids may know Milkshake from PBS Kids and Noggin TV shows. This is an energetic and enjoyable album that encourages kids to use their imagination and play sports. And, the CD's cheery tracks won't easily annoy adults -- even after multiple listens.
