  • Messages:

Kevin isn't volunteering at the homeless shelter, last we heard.
  • Violence:

The only violence is to the listener's ears.
  • Sex:

Explicit and leering appreciation of women's body parts.
  • Language:

Very strong language, using every four-letter word you've ever heard.
  • Consumerism:

Many brand names mentioned -- clothing, cars, and especially adult beverages.
  • Drinking, drugs, & smoking:

Drugs and drinking are glorified and celebrated.

What Parents Need to Know

About Playing With Fire

Parents need to know that Kevin Federline's music is filled with references to drinking, drug use, brand names, and explicit/sexist sexuality -- not to mention awful songwriting and lackluster singing.

Families Can Talk About

  • Families can talk about how K-Fed's marriage to (and break up with) Britney Spears might have affected his career; that is, if anyone feels like talking about him at all. Do you think he would have been able to make an album if their relationship hadn't raised his profile?

Somewhere out there, Britney Spears is hanging her head!

This CD sucks! It's full of greasy sexism, drugs and bling bling. The only good song on here is "Crazy", which features miss Britney Spears, his ex. I'd rather choke on Britney's hair extensions than listen to this...

    Ex-Mr. Spears CANNOT SING!!!!

No wonder he appeared in a Nationwide "Life Comes At You Fast" commercial. He SUCKS at singing. Avoid! Avoid!

What a waste of time, money, and energy...

This CD is not only sexist, stupid, and vulgar, but it is also hard to listen to without feeling like you're going to lose your hearing any second. I don't think there's ever been a worst CD produced. Bad singing, bad influence, this is one of my top ten picks for kids NOT to listen to.
