The good stuff

  • Messages:

    No objectionable social behavior is depicted, other than in "Dig It," where the D Tent Boys explain they don't shower or brush their teeth; they just dig holes!
 

What to watch out for

  • Violence:

    There are no violent images.

  • Sex:

    Several songs explore romantic relationships with surprising emotional depth ("Every day in my life without you is like a hundred years," sings Stevie Brock in "All For Love"), but with mild physical expressions (holding hands). One exception is Li'l Romeo in "My Baby," where he boasts, "I'm a little boy, but live a big man's life/ I got girls passin' up wanna be my wife/ I got grown women wanna be in my life."

  • Language:

    For the most part, there is no objectionable language, although "My Baby" and "Last One Standing" include double-entendres.

  • Consumerism:

    There are no obvious product tie-ins, although a number of the songs have a Disney connection.

  • Drinking, drugs, & smoking:

    There are no references to drugs or alcohol
 

What Parents Need to Know

About Radio Disney Jams Vol. 6

Parents need to know that they don't have to worry about the content on this CD -- it's safe listening for preteens, although the inclusion of Li'l Romeo's swaggering "My Baby" is a curious addition to this otherwise mild collection.
