What to watch out for

  • Violence:

    Some violent imagery as metaphor completely defused by perky instrumentals.

  • Sex:

    Innuendo is more cynical than sexual: "Good girls are sexy like everyday/I'm only sexy when I say it's OK/I just can't deal with the rules."

  • Language:

    The "S" and "F" words are used occasionally and with great enthusiasm; "bitch" pops up here and there, too.

  • Consumerism:

    No product placement in lyrics; insert contains ads for ringtones and other CDs.

  • Drinking, drugs, & smoking:

    A couple drug and drinking references make occasional appearances in the lyrics.
