What Parents Need to Know

About Star Wars: Episode III: Revenge of the Sith Soundtrack

Parents need to know that, once again, John Williams teams up with the London Symphony Orchestra to bring us a dramatic and moving soundtrack for the "last" Star Wars movie. If you're looking for a way to introduce your kids to orchestral music, this could be it.

Amazing Conclusion to an Amazing Musical Saga!

The brilliant John Williams has done it again. He wraps up his score for the STAR WARS saga (spanning 30 years!) with a score as dark as the movie. Yet it still packs the emotional puch that the others did, with new engrossing and original themes. It also incporporates some of the themes from the original trilogy, most notably The Imperial March, in some of the songs. Now, some copies of this CD (including mine) come with a bonus DVD that plays clips from all 6 movies along with selected themes from all 6 CDs. The footage may be somewhat scary and intense, but not very violent. Highly recommended. Anyone at all can listen to the music, and anyone over 7 or 8 can watch the movie.
