Good jazzy pop, easy to listen to.
This is quite a fun album, Thankful is easy to listen to with Kelly Clarkson providing excellent vocals. There is nothing innappropriate- mentions of kissing and being in love, that's about it. Good messages about healthy relationships are the standard.

KELLY CLARKSON ROCKS!!!!
I love this CD. But after all I do love Kelly Clarkson!! This CD has no swearing, or bad language at all on any of the songs. Kelly has a great, great voice. She makes each song her own. Well, you should buy this CD if you even like Kelly Clarkson a little bit. Everyone will like this CD!!!!

Worth the $
The first American Idol's debut album is very good. There are several catchy upbeat songs and some showstopping ballads as well. There is no profanity, sex or violence. I think that "Miss Independent" refers to love, not sex as the Common Sense review says. Although this is a Idol album, there are no TV tie-ins.

Good CD but not worth the money
There are some good songs but totally not worth the money. Miss Independent is the best song but you'll get over it. If you like the slow slow slow pop music and a good gospel voice you should buy it.
