What’s the Story?

Since the Disney Princess line has been such a hit for the Mouse House, it was only a matter of time before Disney came up with something new to appeal to young girls. And Disney Fairies is just the thing. Peter Pan's sidekick Tinker Bell is leading the way (starting with her own direct-to-DVD movie), along with some other fairy friends. This upbeat 10-track collection doesn't really tell a specific story about Tinker Bell and her fairy friends, but rather lets listeners use their imagination.

Is It Any Good?

The collection's general nature means you don't need to see the movie to understand and enjoy the music on the TINKER BELL SOUNDTRACK. While there aren't any jump-up-and-dance songs, the music is sweetly peaceful and serene -- just as you would imagine Pixie Hollow (where the fairies live) to be. Amidst all this serenity, little ears will love the songs' lyrics about magic and rainbows and friends. Bottom line? It's hardly groundbreaking, but this CD is sure to be a winner with any young fairy fans in your life.
