TOP POP 2 boasts that it's a collection of "chart toppers carefully selected for kids of all ages." But some folks might dispute that every song is a chart topper, while others might complain that the selection could have been more careful.
Certainly the lyrics, while cleaned up on some tracks, remain objectionable on others. For example, in "Rock Your Body," Justin Timberlake's original boast, "Better have you naked by the end of this song" becomes, "Gonna have you dancin' by the end of this song." But why leave in the reference to "Miss J's big butt" in "Intuition," or the hint of unwed pregnancy in "Sk8ter Boi"?
