What to watch out for

  • Messages:

The "N" word appears a few times.
  • Violence:

It's all about the dance moves.
  • Sex:

Lots of innuendo, nothing really explicit.
  • Language:

Occasional "S" and "N" words appear.
  • Consumerism:

There's the movie tie-in, of course, and a chance to win a trip to meet the band.
  • Drinking, drugs, & smoking:

One or two passing references to drinking.

What Parents Need to Know

About You Got Served Soundtrack

Parents need to know that B2K can't seem to decide whether to be a schmaltzy boy band or a scary street gang, but this makes for an interesting soundtrack CD. Mild by current standards, there's a bit of sexual innuendo and a disturbing word or two.

Families Can Talk About

  • Families can talk about how the music and movie go hand-in-hand. How do you think the movie benefits from the kind of music chosen for the soundtrack? Does it take away from the movie at all? Also, does a good soundtrack make you want to see the movie or make a movie better?

    YOU GOT SERVED- B2k

The band B2k recently split up after the release of their hit movie and CD YOU GOT SERVED. Granted the CD is a token of commericialism for the movie, but it is very cool and original. Also unexpectedly, the queen of Sex rap Lil' Kim does a great job on "Do Dat Thang"

I have no wrong feelings of this....I love B2K

Why y'all trying to bring them down? Just because they're teenagers doesn't mean that you can think bad about them--b2k is the bomb and i wish they got back together and made some more songs that i could dance to. The person you really need to be looking at is rappers like lil jon and listen to stuff like that (get low) thats something i dont wanna hear.......lol naw but im serious though.....
