This collection, a re-release of a 1998 album, is enjoyable to listen to, but somewhat lacking in drama. TELETUBBIES: THE ALBUM is mostly instrumental, and since it's essentially a soundtrack of the dreamy, abstract
BBC series, nothing much happens. But little ones will like it, especially when they recognize the babble of the fab four, Tinky Winky, Dipsy, Laa-Laa, and Po. The album starts off with an upbeat song called "Puddle Dance," with the Teletubbies chattering away accompanied by a tuba, or tele-tuba if you will. "Ships," the second song, is a pretty number punctuated by the sound of foghorns and the repetition of the melody from "I Saw Three Ships Come Sailing In."
