I don't know why you constantly refer to Lady Gaga as a bad role model in your reviews. She encourages her fans to be themselves and once donated all of her concert ticket/online store sells to benefit Haiti. She is an excellent role model for kids and for you to say otherwise judging solely from her music is wrong.
Alejandro is a great single and I encourage everyone to buy it on iTunes!
The song mentions the line "She's not broken She's just a baby But her boyfriend's like a dad, just like a dad" I don't think that anyones "boyfriend" should be compared to a father. This song isn't bad, and I happen to be a huge Lady Gaga listener, but I would not let my kids listen to this song, solely because of how very skimpy the music video is, very sexual, and very crude. Definitely not for kids under 14, and that's pushing it. Even though the song has no huge red flags, kids like to look up music videos now... so please, watch out for those Lady Gaga music videos.
Maybe for 17 & up but 12 is way too young to listen to any Lady Gaga music
The song may be milder than her usual junk but the video is so perverted & disturbing its just sick. Lady Gaga is just warped & willing to pimp herself out however dirty or rauncy is necessary to keep up her hooker-ish "nobody's as dirty as me" attitude & image.
I don't even feel comfortable listening to this just because of the previous songs and videos she has. Telephone wasn't really bad, but the video had horrible nudity and language....the same might happen to Alejandro, so even though it's "clean", still don't let your kids listen...they'll be tempted to look into her other songs (because she does have some catchy tunes)...
This song okay. Lady Gaga in general, way too much sex and violence in videos.
Unlike another reviewer, I think Lady Gaga actually has talent...at least a great voice. This song is really nothing outstanding, but at least it is not objectionable. Some of the other songs themselves are not so bad (Paparazzi), but the videos a violent and sexual. I'm sorry to say my kids saw several of them before I realized the degree of violence and sex. Don't see how anyone can justify letting their kids see this stuff.
the video is pure pornography but it also has a good message about the horrible things gays have to go through in the video it shows her training a bunch of men in high heels to be in the army. its a catchy song too.
With all honesty i love this song but i won't let a little kid listen to it i mean they already listing to rap and stuff i don't see how this song would hurt though over all this more for a 15+
perasonally i enjoy lady gagas music and her weird outfits (meat dress?) surrreee shes kinda innapropiate and probably wont last but shes fun to listen to for now
Only the usual. My kid loves Gaga. I just think she might not be age appropriate for my 16yo. Sure Gaga is amazing but in this song she mentions cigarettes and in the video; a lot of sexual nudges. She tries to leave a bad relationship so props.
