What's the story?

BARBIE AND THE DIAMOND CASTLE SOUNDTRACK is a collection of upbeat pop songs from the 12th Barbie DVD and first Barbie movie about a tale of best friends. The soundtrack features the song "Connected" (originally from Aquamarine) performed by American Idol diva Katharine McPhee. It includes songs from the new DVD, as well as old favorites such as "I Need to Know" and "Shine" from previous Barbie movies.

Is it any good?

Diamond Castle is yet another release in the successful, popular Barbie franchise, and the first time Barbie comes with a hip, updated sound, while still enchanting girls with its timeless charm. Little girls everywhere continue to be delighted by Barbie and her friends in Barbie and The Diamond Castle. The soundtrack is filled with true Barbie tales of friendship and shooting for the stars, paired with updated, pop-infused music. McPhee sparkles on her rendition of "Connected," and "Believe" is a gem that inspires any age.
