What to talk about

Talk to your kids
  • Families can talk about how rivalries between two groups -- like the Camp Rock and Camp Star kids -- can be resolved amicably. In an argument, what can opposing sides do to try to understand the other's point of view?

  • What can you do to try to help someone else understand where you're coming from?

What's the story?

What's the story?

CAMP ROCK 2: THE FINAL JAM is a collection of 15 tunes from the second installment in Disney's Camp Rock movie series, featuring mammoth stars Demi Lovato and the Jonas Brothers. Mirroring the battle-of-the-bands storyline of the second movie, the soundtrack includes songs with some wholesome boasting about being the best -- along with other tracks about the typical trials and tribulations of growing up and young romance. As is usually the case with music by Disney's stars, there's nothing offensive in the way of mature content or graphic language here, making the record more than appropriate for younger audiences.

Is it any good?

Is it any good?

Though most of the songs on this compilation come from Camp Rock's main stars, Lovato and the JoBros, the record also includes a couple of tunes from other stars of the film, like R&B artist Matthew "Mdot" Finley and pop singer Meaghan Martin. All of these young artists put in respectable performances, churning out the type of pop-infused songs with the mass appeal that their tween fans love.

Fine for 7 +
Only a few songs are worth dancing to. They didn't do Disney justice at all. Over all the songs are innocent.

I only truely love FIRE
Wow, the song Fire is epic. I was suprised this came from them, this was an amazing song. The others.. eh, alright, I would personally take Camp Star over Camp Rock because Camp Star has better songs!
