Parents need to know that this CD, based on Andre Benjamin's ultra-cool Cartoon Network animated show, employs all the elements of appealing children's music without ever being condescending. As on most kids' records, there are gently positive messages (music being good for you is a major theme), clearly audible vocals, and a lot of repetition, but the instrumental tracks are sophisticated and the lyrics interesting enough to appeal to the whole family. The devilish voice on "We Want Your Soul" might be scary to very young children.
Violence:
"Fight the Blob" is an environmentally-correct call to arms, in which the gang (apparently) fights nuclear waste with funky music. "Facing problems head on" is encouraged.

Nothing explicit. Very young kids might be scared by the devilish voice on "We Want Your Soul," a song about selling one's soul in return for pop music success.

Cute show
Having grown up listening to Andre 3000 in Outkast, it is cool to see him do something like this that I can share with my kids.
