Parents need to know that this single is a lot like other Usher tunes in that it's more subtly suggestive than overtly explicit. The song includes a bleeped-out f-word, talks about dancing close, and makes one mention of "downing drinks" -- but that's as bad as it gets. Though it's too adult for young children, the tune is OK for teens and up.
Positive messages:The general message here -- about cutting loose after a long day at work and connecting with an attractive person on a dance floor -- is more mature than negative.
Positive role models:Once again, Usher keeps his music clean, showing his tendency to steer clear of the more mature stuff in favor of music with mass appeal.
Ushers second best song, you should hear it on the radio rather than download it on your iPad.
I didnt download it but its still good when you hear it on the radio. The only issue i can think of is maybe a beeped bad word and pitbulls apperance because pitbull has sort of iffy songs out.
The positve messages are that after a long day it's alrigth to kick back and relax . Usher is a good role modle beacause Usher keeps his music clean. And it's not like Dr.Dre songs witch are not very clean. it's alrigth for ags 10 & up . I just bougth the cd it's aswome !!!!!
ok i can understand why you adult are consered but if anyone takes the time to acctuly READ or HEARD the lyrics you would under stand that he is RECONNECTING with some one "So WE BACK in the club" "Ain't I seen you before?" "the DJ got us falling in love AGAIN" also unwinding after a long week is not a bad thing whats wrong with someone of AGE slugging back afew??? my mom dose that she is a teacher and sometimes after a stressful week she has a glass or two of wine. and whats so wrong with danceing stess away thats acctuly an extrmly healthy thing to do ok my rant is over
Love it i think it's perfect for a little bit older tweens
I love the song its one of my favorite songs. But the f-word is paused out so you can't even hear it. And you can buy the radio versoin on iTunes i did that with Down. And when common sense reviewed it there was drinking not that much it doesn't even talk about it. And ''put your hands on my body.'' I mean it's not that bad as long as your kid is mature. Soooo I love this song.:)
there is some use of langue like in DJ got us fallin in love agian burn this mother f**k down down down there is some content like people but there hands up all up on my body and in the music video there is some drinking and a little bit of contenet but good song
Theres nothing really wrong with this song, but you wont want your kids hearing even a bleeped out "mother f----r", like in this song. I wouldnt consider it langauge though, but if your kids know what phrase is, than no.
This, to me, is a song most likely played at a club (not a BAR, mind you, that's for country songs.), which is perfect for me 'cuz I love that genre. Makes me wanna get up and DANCE, fool! Great song, love the beat, only downside is that Pitbull's on the track. Pitbull. UGH!! I might as well download the song, edit out his part, and just stream THAT on my iPod! (Something I don't plan on doing anytime soon. I can tolerate it.)
It reason it didn't put any thing is because I don't thick launuage is an isuse and put yo hands on my body isn't really bad. U can look at this song 2 ways one way is it's just a fun dance party song another is it's to sugestive and bad language. I think people shouldn't take it so seriously.
This song really isn't so bad. The one swear word is bleeped out and it hasn't got any overly mature or bad messages. My only real concern is some of the lyrics in Pitbull's part of the song ("But I got her in a headlock / Yabadabadoo make her bed rock / Mummy on fire / Pst, red hot /"). Seems like he's stealing lines from Young Money there (yuck!). Anywaym still a good song. LOVE the beat!
Its not a concern at all. I mean, he says "downing drinks" in one line, and the f word is bleeped out once, so it should be OK for 10+. Also, who the heck thinks "put yo hands on my body" is bad?
