What parents need to know

Parents need to know that "Every Teardrop Is a Waterfall" is a positive song about finding the good in every circumstance. It includes no profanity or graphic references to adult content like sex, substance use, or violence, making it a fine choice for younger audiences.

What's the story?

"EVERY TEARDROP IS A WATERFALL" is a super-positive single from global pop stars Coldplay. Like much of the band's music, this track is very clean, with no graphic language or mature topics -- opting instead for exceptionally uplifting lyrics about seeing the good in every situation: "As we soar walls, every siren is a symphony, and every tear is a waterfall." In general, the song is another fine pick for young and old Coldplay fans alike.

Is it any good?

Never a band to look a gift horse in the mouth, Coldplay once again returns to the tried-and-true with this song -- sticking to a basic yet catchy chord structure that's simple as can be but still manages to hook you. Just like "Clocks," "Speed of Sound," and so many others that came before, this tune reaches out and grabs you.
