I love Taylor Swift music, and I thought it was good. A few songs talk about kissing, but that's the only problem. I go tinspired and now I'm a singer/songwriter.
tween girls will love it, but really not for younger kids
The music is really good. Taylor is an amazing singer. The songs are awesome. Some parents may think it inappropriate for younger kids, but my 8+9 year old sisters love it. Also for tween girls it gives amazing insight on someone else's "boy-problems" really gooe though, if you are a tween girl you should at least listen to it.
I love love love Taylor Swift! Fearless: Platinum Edition is a really great cd w/6 new songs that I really like. Jump then Fall and The Other Side of the Door are 2 of my faves. The music is cute & clean true to Swift's style & great for tween & teen girls. :)
MARKETING TOOL ALERT: Barbie doll face/body, tween directed songs, and goody two shoes act!
Taylor Swift is just a marketing tool... just cuz she is a 5 foot 11, 115lb blonde barbie doll. there are sooooo many people that are more talented than her that aren't famous since they don't look like she does. (people like susan boyle for example, but still there are young people going through the same thing that susan boyle went through)
There are so many talented young artists that can't make it in the music industry because they don't have the looks that Taylor does. Trust me, if taylor swift didn't look like the way she does, she wouldn't be famous at all.
It is easy for girls to relate to Taylor's songs. "Jump then Fall" was a cute song about a crush. It's fun to sing. "Untouchable" is a beautiful, but a little boring, song about an out-of-reach crush. " SuperStar" is another crush song, about having a celebirty crush. The chorus is beautiful! " The other side of the door" is awesome, 'nuff said. "Forever and Always piano version slows down the song, revealing it's sad side. "Come in with the rain" is really easy to relate to, even though it was probably about boys. It reminds me of a friend who forgot about me. "Fearless" is a fun song." Fifteen" is very personal for Taylor, but pretty. "Love story" is awesome. It tells, well, a story. "Hey Stephan" is clever and awesome "White horse" tells the truth about some relationships. "You Belong with me" expressed "Girl-next-door-itis". "Breathe" is so pretty, "Tell me why" can even be relatable for girls who have a friend who suddenly turned mean. "You're not sorry" also tells the truth :HE'S NOT SORRY! " The way I loved you" is one of my only complaints, it's saying :I don't like you cus your not a bad boy. "The best day" was writtwn for her mom. "Change" is really inspireing.
Taylor Swift is in my opinion, the best role model for tweens and teens. She has not done anything bad so far in her career, and she has good morals! Her songs are really amazing, and its even more amazing that she writes them herself. Taylor Swift is her role model, and my favorite song is "You belong with me." The music video for that is really good too. I've watched it about twenty times. Haha.
I love this CD!! There are positive messages everywhere in this album, as are every single one of her songs. She is a great role model, trusting, caring, yet is still amazingly talented. Buy this CD!!
