Despite iffiness, this tune still succeeds.
This single from U2's latest (and close to weakest, IMO) album is rocking and innuendo-laced at the same time. It took an online search to find out what those "Boots" were, but ignoring the sexual content, it does contain some interesting ideas. Is this new song a new classic for U2?: No. Is it an enjoyable song that stands on its own merits?: Absolutely yes.
