What a Ride

Why We Recommend It

Eric Herman's quirky, funny CD encourages kids to chase their dreams. Bonus: Parents like humming along, too.

Where do kids go after they're too old for children's music?

By elementary school, kids start making connections between music and musicians, and performers become important role models for kids. That's why kids love High School Musical. But kids' music -- like the musicians -- should be age appropriate. Otherwise, be prepared to hear lyrics that are way too sophisticated for your 7-year-old.

A good place to start: Some of the best kids' music comes from Disney stars. You can't go wrong with the Jonas Brothers.
