What parents need to know

Parents need to know that this children's CD of Caribbean music will get you and your kids movin' and groovin' and playing the steel drums. The kid-friendly aim makes it better than other reggae/calypso brands, too. This artist is also featured on the popular Putumayo Kids' albums.

  • Encourages kids to rejoice in the simple joys of life, dancing, friendship, nature, and ice cream!

What's the story?

IN THE KID ZONE is a flavorful Caribbean blend of calypso and reggae beats to take little listeners through 11 happy-inducing tracks about everything from ice cream to moonbeams.

Is it any good?

Asheba's kind and happy voice seems to emit sunshine right into the listener's ears on his fourth CD. In the Kid Zone is a great way to celebrate a bright summer day or to infuse some summertime into any day that needs a little brightening. His lyrics smile, and the traditional Caribbean music brings life to catchy tunes like "Recess Time," "Calypso," "Ice Cream," and "Moonbeams." The endearing "Beautiful Welcome" is an ode to new, beautiful creatures born everywhere. Turn on this album, and bad moods and long faces will magically disappear.
