What’s the Story?

The third time's the charm for R&B singer Ciara, who's finally hit pay dirt with the chart-climbing single LOVE SEX MAGIC off her forthcoming third album, Fantasy Ride. Of course, it doesn't hurt having Justin Timberlake, who collaborates with Ciara on the single, along for the ride. The song's title says a lot about its content: the two singers engage in a repartee about sex using a magic-show analogy ("All night show with just you in the crowd / Doin' tricks you never seen"). The video shows some super steamy moments between the two.

Is It Any Good?

As a singer, Ciara's no Beyonce, which makes the track lack some of the fire that comes from a particularly strong voice. The best parts of the song are Timberlake's solos, demonstrating once again his gift for transforming a moderately appealing beat into a hit song by lending his electric vocals.

While the lyrics themselves steer clear of foul language, there's no debate about the song's subject matter.
