Flo Rida is great. I like him. He's decent compared to half of some of these other people. I think people overreact on just the smallest bad word someone says. Kind of annoying after awhile. But still a great album.
Once I heard the dreadfully annoying Low, i knew this album was gonna s uck, was i right? HELL YEAH!
this is the 2nd worst hiphop/rap album of the year so far (because no one can be worse than soulja boy). 70% of the songs are featuring someone else to make up for flo rida' s lack of talent and the songs that he does manage to sing are TERRIBLE. Don't believe me? Listen to Ack (thats right its ack not act) Like You Know. Or you can try Still Missin, one of the whiniest rap songs i've ever heard. The Travis Barker remix of low isn't much better than the original for me because i didn't mind the beat of the original, in fact i thought it was catchy, what i couldn't stand was T-Pain's annoying voice. But the guitar in the remix is catchy.
So if you have ANY taste in music and respect for real rap then please don't buy this.... buy lupe fiasco's album or kanye west's ... do yourself a favour and stay away from this garbage.
Ps: whoever likes this album was probably dropped on their head when they were a kid so don't blame them. And Flo - Rida ?... Thats like my name being Cali - Fornia
Some songs can be pretty bad but most of them are okay. One of the worst songs is American Superstar. It has some sexual content and a lot of swear words like the N word the B word and says Im f---in like a rabbit smokin on lettuce. Two of the best songs on the album are Low and Elevator which aren't bad at all unless your kids have never heard swear words then this should be fine for 12 and up.
At dance that is our hip-hop song (In the Ayer)and a 7 year old has to listen to it. Most kids are from age 10-16 in the class. I also like Low, but it doesn't give a positive attitude with bad language. I love it but the lyrics are bad. Kids
im only refering to the song "low" in this one. its a cool song, good music, vocals, etc. but as for the lyrics, no. the big problem is the sex in the song. like it talks about porn posters, and a girl slapping her butt. so not exactly young children appropriate. tweens that have good self-control and any teen should be good with this.
Horrible message... horrible. He has no respect for a wonman or her body. Low is kinda bad, as he says, so sexual she was flexible, proffesional. and roses for the b******. terrible. What is the world coming too.
Great beat and everything to the song,"low" but lyrics,no way.If your kid is okay w/ this kind of a thing then okay, but if they've never heard swearwords, don't let them listen to it! My friends love it,but I don't think it is an okay song for kids my age.
Being balck i know a lot about the N word. If i am talking to some guys on my football the N word is a name, like yo wat up N. but when a non black says it has a whole different meaning. when a white person says it is one of the most offensive words. the word varries with perspective. Last time I checked flo rida was black and I think he has the right to say.
NO PART of this album needs to be played for any child in existance. Ever.
It doesn't even stand its own as a RAP ALBUM more less as a tool for destroying a young girl's self-image or increasing the level of social ignorance for a developing young male's mind. This album is poison.
Ohmigosh. Take one look at Low- aka the most idiotic (or one of the most) to hit airwaves. What has happened with today's music? It's so rude and disrespectful.
