Smart music, inspiring lyrics for kids too young for hip hop
Skidoo is the best artist making hip hop for kids. "Gotta Be You" is a great follow-up to his hit song "Gotta Be Me" from a few years back.

Families can talk about how to deal with a bully or someone who is mean to you or makes you feel bad about yourself. What are some tools you can use to protect and defend yourself without resorting to reciprocal bad behavior? What are some things you can do and say to a bully? What are things you do that make you feel good? What are things that make you sad? Can you find a common thread among the things that make you feel one way or another? How would you describe the music here? What is your favorite song, and why?
