Extremely Violent
An excellent album, but it is super profane and violent. If you do not like offensive content, you do not have to listen to it. Period.

marshall is darker more seroius the shady
the third album to come from eminem shows off real talent to do beautiful emotional songs more than slim shady this album was an indicater. of what to come from eminem and trust me the next album's are darker, in fact this one is just a preview of encore and the eminem show

It's not art, it's rap
Rap isn't music to start with. I think anyone that can't make music and talks over a drum beat (study music theory, this isn't music) is too STUPID to be a legitimate role model for your child. Studies show rock and classical take far higher IQs to understand. I just don't see why you'd let your kid listen to intellectually inferior GARBAGE! I was very upset to read the headline " 'Art' at it's darkest" when art takes creativity and brainpower to make. Eminem is a mindless idiot with nothing better to do with his waste of a life than write sexist illiterate rants...

rap music is really not that bad. It is all i listen too. My partents listen to it too. Eminem is by far the best white rapper ever and i think we should appreciate his music

In "Stan" Eminem uses "Hey Slim, I've drank a fifth of vodka, dare me to drive?" But that is all. Eminem usually uses bad launguage.

This is eminems 2nd studio album and this album is very different to the first album for 1 big reason . his relationship with Kim . The song kim is about muurdering her . the whole album is just a Violent album and i like it

Slim shady still inappropriate
Eminem is awesome, but he is still really inappropriate. Sexual themes, drugs, abusive violence and inappropriate language litter this 16+ album.

The Marshall Mathers Lp Is An Amazing C.D But Watch Out For The Songs Stan And Kim.They Are Filled With Violence But I Am An Extremely Big Fan Of Eminem But Be Carerful Because It Can Be Upsetting To Some.

It is a good album but as Eminem says many times he is not a role model and does not claim to be. This is a warning: DO NOT LET YOUR YOUNGER KIDS LITEN TO THIS!! Yes I am a fan of Eminem but I do not think that kids should listen to this album. By the time your children reach middle school, they will have probably heard worse, so they can probably handle it.

Slims most innaproprite. It includes nonstop language, sexual refrences, and brutal violence. This is not for kids in any way. There is a song about drugs. Unedited:R for pervasive language, descriptions of brutal violence, some sexual comments and drug refrences. Edited: PG-13 for nonstop language and some crude and sexual content

All these songs are great! I can't believe you guys are saying it's not for kids. I make good grades, don't cuss, don't fight, and don't take anything he says personal. Please people, stop being so critical.

good but the language and viuolence isn't as high as it could be.
Sure you have violence, sex and language at a 4 on a scale of 5 but I've seen some games, movies and even music you rated at class five. After listening to raps like "Kim", "Criminal" & "Kill You", I'd put the language and violence at class 5. In some parts the music seems more violent than Lil Wayne & TI's latest offerings. This needs to be looked at again.
