This is a sad, depressing album. Some keywords are "hatred", "lies", "evil", "suicide", "death", "depression"...etc. Don't waste your money. The only good songs are "Somewhere I Belong" and "Numb"

Meteora was really one of the best Linkin Park albums ever simply because it has some of the best Linkin Park songs made. It is a must have for all nu-Metal fans and Alternative Rock fans alike. Recommended Songs: "Numb", "Breaking the Habit", "Somewhere I Belong", and "Faint"

I love Linkin Park and this album is the best. The best songs are "In The End", "Nobody's Listening", "Faint", "One Step Closer", "Crawling" and "Numb". There are sounds of bombings, guns going off, etc. (especially in the foreword). I would basically recommend this album to anyone ages 9 or older even though i became a fan at about 5 years old :) If you don't own this album you dont know what music is.

Amazing Band, Amazing Album, perfectly appropriate! :P
Linkin Park is my favorite band, and this album is definitely one of their best. Amazing Nu-Metal, combined with, conflicting, yet non-explicit in anyway, lyrics. I would recommend this to parents of pretty much all ages.

Linkin Park Wins out IN THE END
Linkin Park doesn't take the stereo-typical "rockstar persona" and set good examples... lyrical content is that of struggles every adolescent goes through...

Luved it then, love it now
Ok I loved this album when I was little! And I'm Christian. This is n amazing album. When I was little, I just didn't pick up a pessimistic message. Now I see what you mean. But enjoy the wonderful music.

Awsome band
I love Linkin Park. And I think that younger kids would like it because they have good beats and no cuss words. Some of the meanings are about real world problems. For really young kids I would advice parents to listen to songs and see what they think

My mom confiscated the album.
Personally, I see nothing wrong with Meteora. My parents do. Apparently, the theme is bad. But for other parents out there, I still think it's good. There's no swearing or sex reference--only a questionable message. Who listens to the messages these days? Besides, the tune is the best part of any song.

Truly awesome.
I remember that in school we were once asked to bring in "appropriate popular music." If you ask me, this is pretty hard to find. A lot of today's music is inappropriate. And with those that ARE appropriate, the music isn't very original.Not Linkin Park's Meteora. This album is truly amazing, and it has nothing about sex, violence, not even mild language, nothing about drugs. Except the lyrics, which are about confusion, frustration, etc. ...which some people may not like, but this album is amazing, lyrically, musically...everything. And I think a lot of people could relate. It's not as..."loud" and heavy as their first album, Hybrid Theory, but it is still awesome (not all of us like too much screaming anyway). Unlike many other albums, this one doesn't have 2-3 or 4 songs which are good and the others were made just so an album could be released. All of the songs in this album are awesome. The sounds aren't something you hear in every other rock album. This album is really worth it!

I don't know why, but this was my first time listening to Linkin Park, and I thought it was amazing. They are my favorite band ever, and I already have most of the CD's! If you like rock bands, try listening to Linkin Park.
