What to talk about

Talk to your kids
  • Families can talk about how to handle it when a romantic partner or friend fails to tell the truth.
  • What are five things you can do to make yourself feel better when you've had your feelings hurt by someone who hasn't told the truth?

What's the story?

What's the story?
R&B diva Mariah Carey teams up with female rapper Nicki Minaj in "UP OUT MY FACE," a single from Carey's album Memoirs of an Imperfect Angel. Though their deliveries differ -- Carey sings, Nicki raps -- the subject of their lyrics remains the same: they both tell a cheating guy to take a permanent hike. True to form, Mimi only hints at the sexual details, singing lines like “Wherever you been laying, you can stay now” and “No you ain’t getting it, no you ain’t hitting it,” all the while avoiding profane language and graphic descriptions.

Is it any good?

Is it any good?

Up Out My Face” straddles the line between Mimi’s power ballads and her super upbeat songs, resulting in a catchy tune that has a flowing beat yet still showcases her superior pipes. The addition of Minaj’s rhymes adds a cool contrast in the same spirit as the track “Let Me Blow Ya Mind” -- the collaboration between Gwen Stefani and Eve
