This album came out around the holiday season, but it certainly does not carry any "holiday cheer". There are no positive notes on the album, and it's just a little scary.

Okay for middle schoolers and up
Once you're 12, you can understand these messages and Rihanna's intent in this album. She is a great role model for channeling her negative energy through music, but this might mean the music is slightly depressing.

Rihanna, strong female voice in the music world. (no doubt)
This is a great album and Hard is the best song. Now there is no doubt that Rihanna is a good role model. She is a strong female voice in the music world and has been through so much with Chris Brown and everything and to see her come back this strong should inspire anyone. Great singer love all her albums but, this one is the best yet.

I think she gives positive messages to women who were abused to keep there heads up and speak about their situations and life still goes on keep your heads up

Perfect if ur Emotional
She is just using her artistic outlet to get rid of the emotions she has tourds Chris Brown. I dont blame her. Teenagers that are very emotional or tweens that are emotional would understand that much in her music.

Flawless album.
I'm 13 and this is my favorite album of all time. It's a perfect combination of hip hop, R&B, dubstep, and rock music. It's a perfect album to listen to when your mad or sad, it's themes relate to my life alot. I definatley think this album is inappropriate for younger pre-teens, I also believe your maturity is also another thing you need to listen to this album and take it seriously. I think it would be appropriate for mature teens as old has 13, However I wouldnt get this if they were immature. Overall age I would say 16 is the most appropriate age for this album.

Rated R is Rihanna's 3rd album, which was released after her violent beating and break up with Chris Brown. This is clearly evident in her lyrics on these songs. There is plenty of violence, strong language, and sex in several songs. The role models, although somewhat helpful because Rihanna portrays herself as a strong, independent woman, are not good for kids who do not understand everything going on here.

language: 5 f-words, 3 s-words, 6 b-words and 1 n-word. thats only 15 curses in all? Explicit tracks; G4L (violent and uses 1 n-word, 2 mfers, 4 b words and 1 s word". Rockstar 101 (uses 1 f word and 1 s word). Hard (uses one b word and 1 s-word). Rude Boy (lots of sexual content and 1 use of mfer). Wait your turn (1 f-word). other kind of cautious songs are Russian roulette for heavy and violent content and te amo is about a lebian girl who likes a straight girl and the straight girl doesn't want to offend the lesbi. anyway a great album best songs are g4l, te amo, rockstar 101, photographs and wait your turn.

One of the best of the year and Rihanna's best!
This CD is amazing! At first I wasn't sure whether I should buy it or not but finally I gave in and I bought it. It is the best Rihanna CD yet! The best songs on the album are Wait Your Turn, Hard, Rockstar 101, Russian Roulette, Rude Boy, and my personal favorite Te Amo. Anyone who is a fan of Rihanna should get this!

Rihanna is one of the best singers ever!!!!!!!!! :)
Rihanna's album rocks and she is one of the most talented women in the music business. She's a wonderful role model of strengh and courage through hardships and she tells her story though cool and catchy songs that are good for most ages.

This album is Rated R
I think Rihanna created Rated R as her Albums is that I think she got upset or mad after a sitiuation between Chris Brown and Rihanna so maybe she decied to creat a violent song and few bad words such as Hard like (I'm a rock this S!@# like fashion hasn't going till they sayyyy stop, and my runway never look so clear with the hottest b.... heels right here)
