Parents need to know that "Right There" is a very sexy song, with the majority of its lyrics including not-so-subtle allusions to sexual situations. Though there's no profanity or extremely graphic descriptions, its steamy lyrics are definitely too mature for kids and younger tweens.
"RIGHT THERE" is the racy single from Nicole Scherzinger, smokin'-hot lead singer of the Pussycat Dolls, and notoriously raunchy rapper 50 Cent. True to their reps, the artists get pulses racing once again in this extra sexy song, which is about as graphic as possible without using profanity or earning a Parental Advisory label. In light of lines like "Me like the way that he put it on me / Me like the way that he push up on me / Me like the way that he goin’ down," the tune is clearly out of bounds for younger audiences.
"Right There" has an infectious tone that's infused with both R&B and reggae flavors. Scherzinger's solid, upbeat vocals fit well with this formula, with 50 Cent's mellow guest rhymes rounding out the sound.
Families can talk about the similarities and differences between Nicole Scherzinger's music as a member of the Pussycat Dolls and a solo artist.
Do you think she should have used the opportunity of a solo career to try out a different musical style? Why or why not?
