Korn rules!!!!!!
I love koRn. I really like the lead singers voice, its different. I listened to korn when I was 11 and I still love their music. of course It depends on maturity but overall most 11 yr olds wont know what their really singing about anyways! I did, but most kids wont.

My very favorite Korn album, but much too intense for kids.
This album sounds great, and is (in my opinion) Korn's best album of all time, but I can't honestly say that there's too much positive content in it. What little positive content the album does have is drowned out by the negative. Don't get me wrong, this album is a lot less explicit than many other metal albums, but it's not for kids. There is occasional violent imagery, but it's not very explicit. One or two songs feature strong sexual lyrics. However, the language is very strong throughout the album. It's not as explicit as, say, the album "Follow The Leader" (by the same artist), but it's still pretty bad, with over 30 f-words in it. The messages in this album aren't too nice, either, with a fair amount of sexism and violent angst. This album is great for older teens who can handle the content in it, but it's still not a good choice for youngsters.

Korn See you on the Other Side Review
Korns been around since 1994 and has been one of the biggest Nu-Metal bands since. One of their guitarest left the band to find God witch may be good role model in some parent eyes, but with "head" gone the music gust dosent sound the same, but its still good. there some disturbing violence, strong language, and sexist witch is not meant for kids at all. The vocals are well done, drums are in check, amazing bass play, and great guitar is intresting and well made album from Korn, but it gust dosent sound the same.

I can't believe what people are saying!
Well, of course, this is coming from a 14 yearold, and a huge fan, but personally, I think this is okay for teenagers. 13 is pushing it, and I actually think i'm a little young to be listening to it, but 16 yearolds should be just fine. Nowadays we're more in tune as to what's happening in the world, so this sort of stuff just doesn't shock us anymore. At least, not really. Unless you're like, a bit churchgoer goody two-shoes (not meant in a bad way) who was raised listening to christian country. Then this stuff'll scare the crap outta you (I should know, my best friend is afraid of my music). But honestly, in society today, doesn't this just seem normal? I mean, listen to rap! It's generally a guy singing about drugs and sex to an annoying but highly addictive beat. Hip-hop is the same, but with a girl. Rock is just a more intense form. Besides, isn't it more about the riffs than the lyrics? I think it's okay, just....don't let us repeat it!

Amazing
I think that people are being a little harsh on this...I don't agree with the "not for kids", I think it should be okay for mature tweens/teens. Korn has amazing music (as always). See You On The Other Side, is definitely one of my favorite Korn albums. If you are looking for a mixture of rock and metal music that has amazing beat and very talented guitar/drums/singing then definitely check this album out. It is amazing. I highly recommend the song "Twisted Transistor", it is definitely my favorite of theirs :-) Enjoy the good music!

Good for teens and up but too much violence and strong language in lyrics
I am an ENORMOUS KoRn Fan but i would say that this album is a little iffy. It is not as bad as "Issues" though (*Ahem* the song, "Trash") even though i LOVE that album.

Good for teens, mature tweens who can judge the lyrical value of what they listen to.
See You On The Other Side has KoRn break new creative ground as they take the experimental elements they began incorporating into their sound in Issues further then they had ever before. It moves away from the guttural intensity of the self-titled album and Life is Peachy and the rap/hip-hop overtones of Follow the Leader into a more electronic direction, developing the Gothic vibe introduced in Untouchables. Your kid will either love it or hate it, but before you let them listen, make sure they are mature enough to deal with the lyrical content and not to take it at face value. If possible, get them to do some research into the history of the band to get a context on the lyrics, as most are heavily tied into the life of the front-man, Jonathan Davis. For tweens set on listening to KoRn, Untitled would be a better start, followed by the self-titled debut.

It's about transistors
Korn's my favourite band and though I was a little disappointed with this album, I still loved it. The tracks are quite vulgar but its only music and not meant to be taken seriously. Tweens should be fine with this.

Good band has interesting tunes, but contains some iffy stuff.
I love KoRn but their albums contain some bad content. Language is very strong, consisting of f*ck, sh*t, b*tch, a**, d*mn, h*ll, g*dd*mn, and variations of these words. Sex is fairly strong also, with some moderate to graphic sexual references and lyrics, and can also get a little bit sexist. The violence is pretty much just disturbing images, but they can get bad enough to make someone uncomfortable. There are also some drug references. I rate this OFF for 13 and under, IFFY for ages 14-16, and ON for ages 17 and older.

It's Nu metal, what do you expect?
First of all, this is Nu metal. Mallcore. Not really considered 'metal.' With this out of the way, we carry on to the music. Listening through 'Twisted Transistor' you hear the blueprints for the entire album: down-tuned guitars playing riffs that make you wonder how they could write something so simple, drums that play easy patterns with little variation and occasionally sound programmed, vocals that may sound cool but have that weird layered thing going on (this is used so you don't notice how weak someone's voice is), repetitive song structure (some of these songs even sound like a few chords with a bunch of random noise) and pointless lyrics (I'm not the kind of person who writes off a band for swearing, these lyrics really don't mean much of anything). This is really just poorly written music that tries to make up for that fact with bizarre singing and a multitude of pointless keyboards/effects. There is really no comparison to a band like Agalloch, for instance, who uses crushing atmospheres to build up to truly beautiful melodic climaxes, or Unexpect who despite being Avant-Garde still manage to put together a strong, cohesive, moving song. (note I don't hate on bands for not being br00tal enough, nor do I only listen to metal, my musical tastes really do carry me all over the place)
