It's a good song overall.
The song is great. Even with some references to sex, it's good. Fun to dance to as well. Most people should let their children listen to the song.

Almost Perfect For All Ages
Love this song, love Metro Station. It's a great song and except for those two lines, totally age appropriate for all.

Not bad!
This song has a good beat and rhythm, but it's pretty suggestive.

Lots of Fun
I think its fun to listen to and dance or what ever but i think the actually Cd and Band have better songs then Shake It, which is a very good song. Alot of songs are about sex and stuff though...

Upbeat rock song is a bit iffy
This is a fun upbeat song but there's one line that is bluntly sexual.

Sex-not good
This song is totally about sex and isn't appropriate for children under 15. It talks about stripping clothes off and the "fun" that goes on in the bedroom. Not appropriate.

Too Hard For Younger Kids Too Understand The Meaning For An Issue
"Shake It" is a catchy song, with some sexual undertones. Besides the "You're on the bed but your clothes are lying right there" line (to which my friend responded "They're in their PJs!"), not much of the content is obviously pertaining to a physical relationship. Most younger kids can't read into lines like, "I'll take you home, If you don't leave me at the front door" enough to understand the song's real meaning. Overall, it's a great song.
