Emo's Poster Boys
Ever since Emo started getting popular, such as Fall Out Boy and My Chemical Romance, more and more pure music is getting heard from the kids. Even if Fall Out Boy and My Chem. have prior releases from 2001 that no one's really heard of, it's good to know. Hawthorne Heights does what they do best, because they copy other bands' styles while adding a style of their own. Perfect live band as well!

Ground Breaking.
From JT's lyrics to Casey's throats, I'd say Hawthorne Heights is very articulate. It's quite amazing how they pulled this altogether in their freshman cd. Even though they have very strong references, many kids like myself have been introduced to this type of things, and well, there's no stopping it. Overall, The Silence In Black and White, brings great joy and sorrow to the tween of this generation who seek comfort from music that Hawthorme Heights creates.

I love this CD. It's like, one of my favorites ever.. It's not 14+, I got it when I was 10! More like 10+, or 9+ if a 9 yr old can handle it's 'darkness'.
