From JT's lyrics to Casey's throats, I'd say Hawthorne Heights is very articulate. It's quite amazing how they pulled this altogether in their freshman cd. Even though they have very strong references, many kids like myself have been introduced to this type of things, and well, there's no stopping it. Overall, The Silence In Black and White, brings great joy and sorrow to the tween of this generation who seek comfort from music that Hawthorme Heights creates.
I love this CD. It's like, one of my favorites ever..
It's not 14+, I got it when I was 10! More like 10+, or 9+ if a 9 yr old can handle it's 'darkness'.
I Think emo music is the best music!!! they put sooo much of their emotion and feelings in their music, thats what makes it so creative. so it should be like 10+
