Parents need to know that this single is yet another good, clean song from tween heartthrob Justin Bieber. It includes no questionable content of any kind; it's about the almost over-the-top sweetness of a young guy just looking for someone to love and treat well.
The latest single off the hit album My World 2.0, "SOMEBODY TO LOVE" finds tween heartthrob Justin Bieber crooning once again about his ideal girl. As always, the Bieb keeps it very clean, with sweet, innocent lyrics that describe his desire to give everything he has to the girl of his dreams. For example, "For you I'd be runnin' a thousand miles just to get to where you are ... / I don’t need a whole lot but for you I'd rather give you the world / I just need somebody to love."
"Somebody to Love" is among the better tunes on My World 2.0, doing a good job of showcasing Bieber's powerful pipes. Though the hook isn't much different than those on lots of previous Bieber songs, the prominent vocal performance will undoubtedly make this single another chart-topper for the singer.
Families can talk about where young tweens and teens should draw the line when it comes to dating. Is it OK to get involved in a more serious relationship when you're young, or should you try not to get tied down to just one person? Why or why not?
Do you think Justin Bieber is too young to be singing about relationships? Why or why not?
