Parents need to know that this CD is loaded with popular music that's also very kid-friendly. Perhaps because it was part of a national telethon, or maybe due to the fact that it was for disaster-relief, but whatever the reason, even normally brash artists like Busta Rhymes and Pitbull are toned down and family-friendly. The album has a very positive feel to it as well, with lots of songs about hope and coming together. Plus, it features Justin Bieber!!
Positive messages:Songs of encouragement and community empowerment dominate the album: "Everything would be alright...I would tell Van Gogh that he was loved, there was no need to cry...there would be no black and white, that's my dreamworld, more than a dream, I want to live in my dream, I said let's dream, dream on."
Positive role models:The album shows popular music stars coming together for a good cause, which might inspire listeners to help as well. "We doin' it for Haiti tonight y'all!"
