Parents need to know that this album contains some flirty innuendo, along with a lot of friendly "girl power" -- and not much else. Lyrics like "I'll tell you what I want/what I really really want…I wanna really really really wanna zigazig ha" sound deliciously quaint compared to some of today's pop.
Positive messages:"Mama" expresses love and appreciation for a mom who set strict limits in the past. A lot of girl power friendship expressed.
Sex:Loads of flirty innuendo, but "Naked, nothing but a smile on her face...this child has fallen from grace" is as raunchy -- and serious -- as the Spice Girls ever get.
Language:Depends on how you feel about that "zigazig ha" stuff.
Consumerism:Nothing obvious, except an insert promoting the Spice Girls' fan club.
My friend Hallie is telling me what to type. Hallie says: THE SPICE GIRLS ARE AWESOME!!!!! And everyone should listen to them.
I say: Okay so I do not reccomend them but I have never listened to them, so idk.
