What to talk about

Talk to your kids
  • Families can talk about how Phineas and Ferb is a hit with grade-schoolers and parents. Why do you think this show is so successful? Do you like the stories? Are you more inclined to watch the show because there are often celebrity guests featured? What about the fact that celebrities do many of the voices?

  • Phineas and Ferb use their imaginations to stay entertained throughout the summer. What are some ways that you stay active in the summer? Do you think too many kids stay inactive and indoors during the hot months?

What's the story?

What's the story?

To celebrate 100 episodes of the Emmy-nominated Disney Channel animated TV series, Phineas & Ferb, everyone's favorite summer-lovin', rocket-building brotherly duo take a trip around the world in a one-hour special episode. The soundtrack features the 8 songs their journey, from Clay Aiken and Chaka Kahn cheering them on in "I Believe We Can" to the well-loved Love Handel singing "The Battle of Klimpaloon."

Is it any good?

Is it any good?

It's not just the silly humor, outlandish predicaments, and endless tormenting of Candace that makes Phineas & Ferb so popular; the music from the hit show is pretty fantastic, as well. Now fans have even more P&F music to enjoy with the latest soundtrack from the 101st episode, SUMMER BELONGS TO YOU. Phineas, his brother Ferb, and the rest of the gang enjoy a whirlwind extravaganza from Tokyo to Paris, off a deserted island, and on a paper airplane to enjoy the summer solstice -- the longest day of the summer to get into even more trouble, er, fun. The music features all your kids' favorite characters, a little rock and roll, a little romance, and the same smart, feisty humor that makes the show, and its music, such a hit.

We love Phin and Ferb at our house. And by WE, I mean our eight year old son AND his fortysomething parents. Summer Belongs to You is a great episode of the Disney Channel favorite and the downloadable EP is a hit, all the way through.
