It's a new day parents. Teenagers partying isn't frowned upon anymore.
Okay, come on people. Teenagers party. Parents, stop freaking out. This song is probably one of the ones you shouldnt be worrying about. Good song, good lyrics, good vibe. I absolutely loveeee loveeee loveeee the cd. Such a little party animal. She's not a bad influence. Come on. It's a very realistic cd. Worth every penny. Oh, and parents, lay off your kids. The more strict you are, the more they will go against what you have to say. :P
The rhythm is awesome and I like to sing to the chorus but the message....EW.
HOW COULD ANYONE EVEN COMPOSE THIS SONG, FOR GOODNESS SAKES???
I would be ashamed to call myself a singer.
Here's my opinion about "Tik Tok" by Ke$ha: it's STUIPD AND IMMORAL!!! The lesson of this song, so I've heard, is about not letting anything get in the way of having a good time. It is pretty much saying that getting drunk is a good idea until the cops come. Now, that's just wrong. Remember when we were young and were told that the police were there to keep us safe? Have any of you ever received an Amber Alert ID card (or something quite like it)? The police just don't want anyone driving under the influence. My former Language Arts teacher did her example memoir about a drunk driver running into her and injuring he severly when we did our own memoirs.
Talented pop star Ke$ha makes fun pop hits that is appropiate for kids. Despite Common Sense Media's review, I found nothing explicit or sinful. Tik Tok is one of the best songs ever made, and it is appropiate for kids of all ages. Most kids don't even listen to the lyrics, in "Tik Tok," it's all about the beat. A+
The music sounds great. The lyrics are anything but. Ke$ha's lyrics are notorious for promoting gross intoxication, materialism, narcissism, recklessness, selfishness, and misandry. Her lyrics send all the wrong signals to children, girls in particular, all wrapped in enticing, fun music.
It is a good song but has a bad aspect to it. My 10 year old daughter came to me, worried when one of her friends was singing it, including a bad line full of sex. But the kids hear worse in school. Make sure they wouldn't get a bad message from it.
