Telephone
Honestly I don't see how people find this so offensive. Everyone is saying the video is so violent. The only thing is shows is Gaga poison food. The guy eats it and falls over lol. The nudity is censored but inappropriate for preteens. The language is basically what you would get in a PG-13 movie. So overall I don't see the huge deal, people are making it into. People are also comparing it to be as explicit as a grindhouse film. Transformers Revenge of the Fallen was more explicit then this. Calm down parents, this isn't half as bad as what kids watch today.

Catchy and highly danceable song
I think this review is blinded by its infamous music video. If this were a review for said video, I wold agree 100%: it is not appropiate for those under 17. However, this is suppose to be a review for the song, Telephone. As it turns out, it is a pretty good song. Telephone deals with the futility of a lover to call because Gaga is enjoying a night out at the club. The chorus is instantly catchy and engaging, with a slight reference to alcohol (...sippin' that bubb). Beyonce steps in for a verse, adding her rousing vocals to the mix. Common telephone beeps and tones are thrown in, adding to the sense of chaos Gaga feelsin her head, ending with the common, "please hang up and try your call again."

Telephone is the cleanest song Gaga ever did. But her video is her dirtiest ever! The song is good for kids but they should STAY AWAY FROM THE MUSIC VIDEO! I rated the song 11+ because the video does not count in my ratings. There is one alcohol reference in the song but that's not much.

"Telephone" music video nothing like the song.
Beware viewers. This music video is explicit and highly graphic as far as drug and sexual content. Not only is this completely off limits for kids, the music video is way to long and most of it is just acting, with the song muting in between. Besides that, the video has nothing to do with the song. Its about prison, sex, and killing people by poisen.

Iffy, but Innapropriate
I downloaded the song on my Ipod, and I LOVED it, but a few nights ago, my brothers and I were flipping through channels and found the Lady GaGa Music video for telephone, on a TV station. We watched it for only like five seconds, but during that time, Beyonce in the video was sitting down on a chair, and the cameras bent down to Beyonce's shirt, were her breasts were supposed to be. It was innapropriate, and from a other review, she supposed to say the f-word, wore very little clothing, and a scene was very violent. I dont know Lady Gaga all that well, but most of her videos are about innapropriate subjects, and innapropriate scenes.

Lady Gaga went too far and Beyonce went along with it
I believe the song is catchy (that is what Lady Gaga is known for) but when parents look at the video, they see; sex, violence, and smoking. Lady Gaga takes things too far. But, as long as kids don't see the explicit parts, it's all good.

horrible and inapropreate!
Ok i have scene many music videos before but none of them as bad and as inapropreate as telephone by lady gaga. Ok here the problems with the music video: SEX: Some people kiss and makeout, and in a couple scenes lady gaga is half naked barley whereing clothes at all! VILONCE: Some people fight egressivly, Also near the end of the music video lady gaga and her friend kill people (including a small cute dog) in a resturaunt useing posion! LANGUAGE: Some bad language DRUGS,SMOKING, and DRINKING: Lady gaga wears glasses made out of dozens of ciggarets! GROSS! So the song by itself is MOSTLY ok. But the music video is awful! And probably will scare young kids. (12 and under)

horrible
Lady Gaga is clearly expressing herself. I haven't watched the exploit version, but my friends have. they say that she has no clothes on in one scene, tape covering up part of her boobs and only tights. unghhh!!! who wants to watch that?! there's really bad language too. She walks in with glasses that are just simply sunglasses with cigarettes taped on to them. She starts making out with this dude too... i stopped the vid there. Hate it. Not recommended to ANYONE in ANY age group.

Great Song. Bad Video!
The song is great and clean. The music video is not appropriate for anyone under the age of 12. It doesn't set a good example.

song--good; music video--not!
the beat and rhythm is good, and the lyrics aren't bad in any way. NOTE: the explicit music video, however, is not appropriate for people 14 and under!

First of all this song is just bad. But the video on the other hand is just revolting. I cannot believe how easily this video is to access for children and younger teens. I am 15 and shocked at the adult content that was shown in the video. Also I am not sure how the video and the song relate. In the video, even in the clean version, there was crude talk, and language (words such as mutherf---er, p---y, b---h, d--k were used) violence, slinky costumes, and sexual elements (both subtle and overt) that I was horrified to have found in such a accessible video. I mean it is #1 on iTunes right now! And even if you don't buy it, the preview they show is definitely not appropriate. My other problem with the video is it showed messages of lesbianism being about sex, scary images of jail, and mass murder. So in conclusion, this video is not ok for kids especially the young fans of Lady Gaga.
