What parents need to know

Parents need to know that this song is an innocent enough tune about drifting apart in a relationship and getting your heart broken. Some tweens may not be able to relate to being in a long-term relationship, but they'll certainly empathize with the heartbroken aspect. Radio Disney has promoted this sister act.

What's the story?

This sibling pop duo looks every bit the part of a "California girl," but don't let their Southern Cali blonde tresses fool you. Without really any formal musical training, these two sisters have a peppy, melodious harmony that's infectious.

Is it any good?

Savvy and Mandy's fresh-faced lovability seems to fade in to the background as they sing catchy guitar pop with such grown up lyrics like "Are we doing the right thing/we'll just have to wait and see/It's been forever/we been together/it just wasn't meant to be." It's hard to imagine some of the words coming out of the mouths of a 12 and 14 year old without much "heartbreak" experience, but, if you can get past that -- as most tweens and teens probably will -- you'll enjoy their silky singing on a bright first single that is bound to make the heavy rotation list on Radio Disney.

What families can talk about

Families can talk about family singing groups. What is it about bands like Jonas Brothers or The Naked Brothers Band that make them successful? Do they have a better chance at success than a group of strangers coming together?
