Nice to see a fun and adventurous programming that has learned to get a kids attention without laying on the violence. Far from boring yet has good messages throughout. Def a winner in our book (and The Book too :)

Parents need to know that this series carries clear moral messages and comes from a Christian perspective (the main characters say their bedtime prayers at the end of each episode). The messages themselves -- such as the virtue of patience -- are hard to argue with no matter what your religious bent.

- Families can talk about how fantasy and reality both come into play in this series. Was the main character daydreaming, or did everything really happen? Elements of daily life always filter into the fantasy segments, nicely blurring the line. Families can also discuss the message at the heart of each episode.
