This show is something that even younger kids won't enjoy. In the Emperor's New School, Kuzko, from the original movie The Emperor's New Groove, is a bit more different from the film. He's so self-conceited, rude, selfish, and ugh!!!! So annoying! I mean, let's be real here! Do you want your child to turn out like Kuzco who thinks only about himself? The answer is probably no. This show doesn't teach any lessons and I don't recommend it to anyone; especially younger children who are SUPPOSED to be learning RIGHT FROM WRONG!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Just horrible, don't waste your time.

What Parents Need to Know
About The Emperor's New School
Parents need to know that this show is intended for entertainment purposes only -- despite the potentially interesting and educational setting (an Incan empire), there's no learning about history or the culture of these people. The main character, Kuzco, is a self-absorbed teen. He lies and cheats in order to secure his high school diploma. He's also disrespectful to adults.

Families Can Talk About
- Families can talk about why Kuzco faces challenges with friends and administrators at school and what changes he could make to be more likable. Could his terrible attitude and actions be a way to cover up his normal adolescent feelings of insecurity? Would kids want to be friends with someone like Kuzco given how he treats others?

It's boring, rarely funny, and conceited Kuzco only talks about Malina, the hottie-hot-hottie, and himself. I would'nt waste my time with this annoying show!

Lives in MarylandI rate this title on for age 5 and give itMy Grandchildren and I cuddle up and enjoy this show
All my Grandchildren and I have loved The Emperors New Groove and Kronk's New Groove from the git-go. This show is a cute spin off. It is pure entertainment. It provides a "plot" and a "conclusion" mostly about Kuzco learning something about life. I think it does have a social-moral message. The characters are loveable, and even Izma is a source of humor. The show doesn't talk up or down to children. Mine are 4 and 9, and each enjoys it equally. Nothing in it offends, and it is not boring and contrived as many of the "kid" shows are to me. Because it is a cartoon. No violence, and jokes a kid can get. I just wish they would make more episodes. And put them it out on DVD soon. They are fun.
