Parents need to know

Would the animals featured in the show make good pets? Why or why not? Which animals live in the wild? Which ones live in an aquarium or at the zoo?

Is it any good?
Animal Adventures is somewhat lighter and breezier than other wildlife shows. Kids will find it sweet when Jack kisses a dolphin and may lobby for scuba lessons when they see him jump into a pool filled with colorful tropical fish.
One word of caution: Although the show has plenty of endearing moments, some episodes include a few graphic encounters as well. For example, young viewers might find it scary when a group of sharks goes into a feeding frenzy and a local diver gets bitten on the ankle in the fray. But overall Jack Hanna's Animal Adventures is a great pick for kids looking to learn more about the world and the creatures who make it interesting.
