What Parents Need to Know
About Surviving Motherhood
Parents need to know that this show is about moms and their problems -- not a topic that's usually of huge interest to kids. The moms (never dads) describe whatever behavioral problem or crisis they're dealing with in front of their kids, who listen avidly as their mother describes their faults on national television.

Families Can Talk About
- Families can talk about the issues faced by each family, as represented by the mom and kids, and how they could be resolved. Do you think the kids could help more around the house? Would more toys make you feel better if your family was going through hard times, or would you rather spend more time with your parents? Families can also talk about where the dads are in all of this, and whether they have the same problems.
